Caliphate Icon Awards 2025
The 2025 Caliphate Icons Awards was successfully held on January 2, 2026, at the prestigious Command Guest House Sokoto, drawing an impressive gathering of dignitaries from within and outside Sokoto State. The colorful and well-attended ceremony brought together prominent personalities from all walks of life, including members of the Sokoto State House of Assembly and respected royal fathers from the palace. The Special Guest of Honour, Barrister Bello Moh’d Goronyo, Honourable Minister of State for Works, graced the occasion and commended the organisers for their remarkable initiative. He reaffirmed the commitment of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to driving Nigeria forward through purposeful leadership and development-focused policies. The Royal Father of the Day, Professor Sambo Wali Junaidu, the Waziri of Sokoto, added royal prestige to the event and had the honour of presenting certificates of recognition to the “Amazing 30” – Sokoto Women of Influence – in celebration of their outstanding achievements and contributions across various fields of endeavour. Delivering a thought-provoking address, the Guest Speaker, Dr. Mansur Isa Buhari, encouraged patriotism, unity, and sustained support for humanity as essential pillars for building a better Sokoto State. In his remarks, the Founder of Amazing Fame Concept, Comrade Ola Mathew, congratulated all award winners, and the Amazing 30, Sokoto Women of Influence for their dedication and impact in their respective fields. He called for renewed acts of patriotism and collective responsibility, urging citizens to continue contributing positively to the growth and development of Sokoto State. He also reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to advancing Sokoto State — a land he described as one that has given him so much — and pledged to continue supporting initiatives that promote excellence, unity, and progress. A major highlight of the occasion was the official launch of Amazing Fame Magazine – “Legacy to the Future” Edition, further underscoring the organisation’s commitment to documenting excellence and inspiring future generations. Overall, the 2025 Caliphate Icons Awards stood out as a memorable and impactful celebration of excellence, leadership, and service, reinforcing the spirit of progress and collective responsibility within the Caliphate and beyond.
